To help patients heal on a mental/emotional level, Dr. Bjorndal creates a safe space for patients to share themselves and their story. She opens the door to awareness of the body, breath, emotions and thoughts as they relate to health and vitality.
Dr. Bjorndal has a special interest in mental health and uses techniques from her training in Gestalt psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Compassion focused therapy and present mindedness to guide patients to increased self-awareness and behavioural change.
